Bobbie B. Westbrook Calcote

March 29, 1939 - August 25, 2025

Born in Franklin County, MS to Albert S. Westbrook and Birdie Fleming Westbrook. After graduating from Independence High School, she married Frank A. Calcote and their work travels took them to Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Nebraska and Missouri. Over the years Bobbie worked in a factory sewing, as a nurse, a real estate agent, Zales Jewelry, the family business Lambs Jewelry and Walmart.

She is survived by daughters Cindy Calcote Snowden, Audrey Calcote and son, Ralph Calcote (Tammy), 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Sidney and Birdie Fleming Westbrook, her ex-husband Frank Calcote, sons Jerry Calcote and Terry Calcote, and her siblings, Breness Gill (Jim), Margie Williams (Lawrence), Ira Nettles (Burnett), Naida Gill (Claude), Doris Myers (Melvin), Maxine Nettles (Robin), Cornell Burke (Charles), Wilma Martin (Bob), Joel Westbrook (Eleanor) and Euell Westbrook (Frankie).

Bobbie loved to cook and crochet. At age 12 she snuck away and took a bus to see Elvis Presley. She would always tell us to "Be sweet".
