Bobbie Maxwell passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025, at the age of 81 surrounded by her loving family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she touched countless lives with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love.
For over 65 years, Bobbie shared a beautiful life with her husband, Forrest Maxwell. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. They raised two wonderful daughters, Charisse Ward and Michelle Duncan, who were the light of their lives. Family was Bobbie's greatest joy, and Forrest dedicated himself to ensuring their happiness and well-being-a devotion that defined their loving partnership.
Bobbie will be remembered for her generous spirit, her infectious laughter, and the countless ways she enriched the lives of those around her. She had a deep love for nature and found joy in cultivating a yard full of vibrant plants and flowers. She and Forrest also shared a passion for antique furniture, spending many happy days exploring antique shows. She was the heart of every holiday gathering, her warmth filling the room as family and friends came together to share meals, stories, and love. Her presence made every occasion special, and the traditions she nurtured will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Bobbie will be deeply missed, but her loving spirit, compassion, and the joy she brought to so many will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Bobbie is survived by her daughters, Charisse and Michelle; and sons-in-law, Joe Ward and Tim Duncan. She leaves behind grandchildren, Amber Kennedy (Donnie), Taylor Cavanaugh (Patrick), Brittany Cash (Brad), and Sadie Duncan, along with six great grandchildren, who will grow up hearing the wonderful stories of their great-grandmother. She is also survived by her sister, Debbie Parker; former son-in-law, Terry Claiborne (Kim), and many, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Maxwell and granddaughter, Andrea Ward.
