MINTON---It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend, Bobbie Minton, who passed away peacefully on July 21st at the age of 86. She was surrounded by the love of her family and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength and unwavering love.

Bobbie's warmth, wisdom and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a proud mother and a cherished sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Her home was a place of laughter, comfort, and unconditional love.

Bobbie worked in Human Resources at the USPS and was known for her work ethic, impact and dedication. She had a passion for gardening and loved all the plants in her backyard.

Bobbie will be remembered for her kind heart, wise counsel, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the values she passed down, the stories she told and the lives she touched.

She is survived by her sister Vonna Allen, grandsons Jason Midgett (Stefanie) and Jesse Midgett (Kaitlyn), granddaughter Mikayla Minton, great-grandchildren Leah, Noah, Sadie, Dustin and David. She was preceded in death by her parents O.Q. and Mabel Clarice Hart, brothers Kenneth, Lamar, Van and Wayne, daughter Dawn Midgett and son Darren Minton.

A celebration of Bobbie's life will be held on Saturday August 23rd at 10am at Jacksonville Memorial Gardens 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and love.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America.
