Bobbie Neal-Little Obituary

Bobbie Neal-Little

Silver City, NM - Heaven's porch light came on the evening of June 2nd and our sweet Bobbie Jeanne was called on home. Whether you knew her as Bobbie Ball, Neal, or Little; there's no doubt you knew her as a friend. She was a lifelong steward and citizen of Silver City born in the firehouse which is now known as the Silver City Museum on Flag Day, 1935. She served Grant County as a real estate broker for over 25 years where her trademark NEAL Real Estate stop signs could be seen from White Signal to Bayard. Bobbie served on the board of the Southwest Horsemen's Association, she sat on the board and was a diligent volunteer of the Silver City Museum, was an active member of the Copper Cowbelles, as well as an active member, trustee, and Sunday school teacher at First United Methodist Church. Bobbie was rarely seen without a golden smile on her face and there wasn't a person alive who was unwelcome in her home. When you get up there yourself, you'll undoubtedly find Bobbie alongside her parents Violet & Rowland Ball, welcoming newcomers with coffee and a place to sit and visit while her first husband, Meredith Neal and his Bootheel boys play a tune. Don't be surprised if you also find yourself on the receiving end of a firm friendly handshake and a smile from Howard Little, Bobbie's second husband. Be sure to say hello and give them a hug from all of us down here. When not with the Good Lord discussing a long overdue increase of annual precipitation in Grant County, Bobbie will be keeping an eye on so many of us from up above. Routinely checking in on her sister Dona Irwin. Carefully watching over her son Lyn, his wife Kim, and her youngest grandson Seth. She'll certainly be sending love and blessings to her daughter Kim Allen, granddaughter Aubri Studdard, granddaughter in-law Adriana Allen, great granddaughters Meredith and Brooklyn Allen. In the glow of her halo, she'll also be shaking a stern finger at Steve, Wacey, Justin, Ky, Coleman, and Hollis while she blows kisses to Calloway, her newest great grandson. In her angelic voice, she'll whisper prayers of hope and love to Gayle and John Jones, Paula Jenkins, Vannetta and Gary Perry, Rayna Aiken, Randy and Dulcy Little; as she provides heavenly guidance to her lovely grandchildren; Brad and Lauren Saulsberry, Eric, Keith, and Kimberly Jones; Jenna, Justin, Jace, and Jamie Jenkins, Galen, Dustin, and Brett Perry, Gayle and Will Holden, Jonathan, Christy, Benjamin, Micah, AnnaLee and Jesse Little.

The world was a kinder, gentler, more welcoming place with Bobbie in it and she will be truly missed by all. In lieu of flowers family is requesting donations be made to the Silver City Museum, 1st Methodist Church, and Silver City Public Library. Visitation will be Friday, June 11th from 9-10am at 1st Methodist Church. The funeral service will commence at 10am with Rev. Jaret Secret and Rev. Earseye Ross officiating. Concluding service and interment will take place at Memory Lane cemetery where she will be laid to rest by her husband Meredith Neal. Pallbearers are Justin and Wacey Allen, Seth Neal, Ky Studdard, Justin Jenkins, and Jace Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers will be the rest of her family and friends.
