Bobbie Parrish

FRANKLIN - Bobbie Gaye Phillips Parrish, 80, passed away Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025.
Daughter of the late Charles Robert Phillips and the late Vernon Laura (Bradley) Phillips, Gaye was born Aug. 8, 1945, in Franklin. She was a beautician for many years.
Gaye enjoyed traveling, camping and shopping. She was a woman of faith. She played piano at Oak Grove Baptist Church for many years and more recently was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Gaye was a devoted wife to her husband, Jerry Parrish, for 57 years. In addition to her role as wife, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Gaye is survived by her children, Tony Parrish and Shandale Parrish (Matt) Brewer; twin sister, Laura Faye Bishop; grandchildren, Roman Isaiah Brewer and Victoria Monatana Parrish; and great-grandchild, Aria Zaylee Montgomery.
Visitation was held at Liberty Baptist Church Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. The memorial service followed at 2:30 p.m. Reverend Scott Cates officiated.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Liberty Baptist Church. Donations can be mailed to 2206 Bridge Creek Road, Tiger, GA 30576.
