Bobbie Rouse Obituary
Louisville - 79, died peacefully on 08/31/2021 of cancer related issues. He was preceded in death by his parents A.D. Rouse and Martha Pansy Rouse Shepherd. He is survived by his wife, Wa Ho Rouse; sisters, Lyndia Glasgow and Sheila Truett; children, Ash Greymane, Samuel Rouse (Diane), Amanda Thompson (Doug), and stepson Bao Ho (Monica); grandchildren Thomas Hill, Duncan Workman, Rosalind Thompson, Vivian Thompson, Willa Thompson, Josh Sowder, Makyla Ho and Maddox Ho.
Bobbie was a dedicated union member of Pipefitters Local 502 where he served many years as President and was a long time employee of Phillip Morris, retiring in 2006.
Bobbie was a talented welder, craftsman, gardener and orchardist. He had an affinity for good country meals, spending time with his family, discussing politics along with being an avid reader. He was a man among men and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm. Sunday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 3-8 pm and after 10 a.m. on Sunday.
