Bobby Baker Obituary
Bobby “Hawkeye” Baker, age 83, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away from this life on March 27, 2024, at his home. His is now in the arms of Jesus.
Mr. Baker was born on August 22, 1940, in Nashville, to the late James Baker and Jewel Baker-Slaughter. He retired after 30 years of service from the Ford Glass Plant. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and Paw-Paw.
Mr. Baker is preceded in death by his parents James Baker and Jewel Baker-Slaughter, by his wife Lois Baker, and by his stepsons Donald Rhea and Terry Rhea.
Mr. Baker is survived by his daughter: Carla Regan of Ashland City, his son: Bob Baker, Jr. (Meredith) of White House, his stepson: John “Red” Reha (Glenda) of Antioch, his stepson: Bob Rhea (Kim), his sister: Faye Coffman of Huntsville, his brother: Buddy Baker of Nashville, his stepbrothers: Bartley Davis and George Davis, and his grandchildren: Dana, Daniel, Cody, Cole, Carly, John-Byran, Rachel, Donald, Leslie, Darren, Wesley, and nine great grandchildren.
A visitation from 10:00am until 2:00pm, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home and Memory Gardens.
