Mr. Baskin, age 93 of Lebanon passed away July 24, 2025, at the Pavilion.
Born March 23, 1932, in Rutherford County, he is the son of the late Alvie Lafayette Baskin and Alma Bessie Walls Baskin. He had worked at the Lebanon Woolen Mill, Ross Gear, and retired from Nissan. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gary Lynn Baskin; sister, Billie Baskin Jennings George, and two brothers, Jerry Clay Baskin and Jimmy Dale Baskin.
He is survived by his wife of over seventy four years, Katherine Everett Baskin; son and daughter in law, Randy and Sally Baskin; two grandchildren: Anna Baskin (Chris) Jones and Jonathan Baskin; great grandson, Walker Jones; and sister, Betty Ann Rollins (John) Fields.
