Seminole, OK resident Bobby “Bob” Joe Beasley passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026 in Seminole at the age of 97. Bob was born on June 25, 1928 in Russellville, AR to Rueben Thomas and Birthel (Hood) Beasley. He attended Bowlegs High School and then served in the United States Army during WWII. While in Germany he met the love of his life and his bride, Connie (Stienmetz) Beasley.
Bob was a devoted OU fan. He enjoyed working outside and gardening, playing golf, and sailing in his sailboat with friends and family at Lake Hefner. Bob was a member of First Baptist Church Seminole. He took great joy in volunteering as a Boy Scout Leader.
Bob is survive by his two daughters and son-in-law, June and Steve Castoe and Dina Stegink; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Max Swanson; eight grandchildren; multiple great and great great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Connie Beasley; three brothers; one sister and his son, Bruce Beasley.
Bob’s family will celebrate his life at a later date.
