Bobby G. Bedsaul, 87, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away November 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born November 13, 1938, to Vernon and Lola in Holden, Missouri. Bob attended and graduated from Holden high school; this is also where he met the love of his life Judy Bailey. They were united in marriage 61 years. From that union, they were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Desiree and Rhonda.
Bobby was a hard-working family man. He was a pipe fitter for over 30 years at Western Electric.
Bobby enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He never missed a birthday or holiday celebration. That was his time with the family that he cherished. Bobby loved to garden or work in the yard. He also liked tinkering with his many tools and doing various projects for Judy.
Bob loved his morning visits to Neighborhood Café where he enjoyed coffee, biscuits and gravy, or pancakes. Also got his morning hugs from his favorite waitresses.
Bobby loved his dogs and cats; they brought him great joy and comfort as he spoiled them often.
Bobby is proceeded in death by his parents Vernon Bedsaul and Lola (Maloney) Bedsaul, wife Judy (Bailey) Bedsaul and sister Carmen Shippy.
He is survived by his daughters Desiree (David) Collins and Rhonda (Tim) Thompson. Grandchildren: Tim (Andrea) Collins, Corey Collins, and Brandon (Angela) Barnard. Great grandchildren: Alivia, Colton, Kali, Delena and Phillip. He will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and dear friends.
Services for Bobby will be Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Longview Funeral Home and Cemetery- 12700 SE Raytown Road, Kansas City MO, 64149.
Visitation will be at 11am with Funeral Service at 12:00. There will be a private burial at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made in his honor to St. Jude’s's Children's Hospital.
