JO ELAINE (POTTS) BEDSAUL, 93, passed away peacefully January 5, 2026, at Heritage Estates in Gering, Nebraska and cremation has taken place. Services will be announced at a later date. The Colyer Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com Jo was born December 23, 1932, in Buffalo, Wyoming to Owen and Ora (Connolly) Holloway. She grew up in Bighorn, Wyoming where she stayed until she graduated high school in 1951. After graduating she married Garland "Oop" Potts on July 6, 1953, in Sheridan, Wyoming. To this union four children were born, Susan, Sandy, Debbie and Doug. Jo was a devoted stay at home mother to her children as they were growing up. She was very active in all school activities, even making cheerleading uniforms for the girls. She and Garland shared 30 years of love until his passing in 1983. She then married Milt Bedsaul on September 9, 1995, in Torrington, Wyoming. They were married for seven years until his passing in 2003. After Milt's passing, Jo resided in Torrington for the remainder of her life. Some of Jo's hobbies included sewing, reading, baking and watching her Denver Broncos. To say that Jo left her mark on the world is an understatement and she will be missed by all of those that were lucky enough to know her. Jo is survived by her daughters, Sandy Ronne and Debbie Curry; stepson Dale (Jeanne) Bedsaul; stepdaughter Linda (Terry) Krayenhagen; grandchildren, Brad Wiegel, Grant (Ashley) Curry, Tia Potts, Craig Curry, Tess Potts, Chelsey Steinberg and Darcy Ronne, great grandchildren, Kaden, Connor, Callum, Douglas, Owen, Demi, Reed, Kayson, Adalyn and Alaina, brother-in-law Don Morgan and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Owen and Ora, stepfather Carl Norris, both her husbands; Garland "Oop" Potts and Milt Bedsaul, two children Doug Potts and Susan Potts, her siblings; Lola (Willy) Hauf, Carolyn (Gene) Griffith, Barbara (Phil) Moore, Ann Morgan, and Jack (Barbara) Norris. She is also preceded in death by a son-in-law Chuck Curry.
