Amanda Dominguez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Colyer Funeral Home on Mar. 18, 2026.
Amanda Kaye Dominguez, 41, passed away unexpectedly on March 15, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 10am Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Julia Newman officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials please instead be made to Saint Joseph Children's Home. Visitation will be Monday from 3pm to 5pm and the casket will be open briefly following the service.

She was born on December 27, 1984, to Michael and Sandy Rose, Amanda lived a life centered around love, laughter, and connection. She enjoyed playing in the local volleyball league, embraced outdoor adventures, and especially cherished her family's annual trips to Arizona. Whether she was thrift shopping or staying committed to her boot camp group, Amanda brought energy and joy to everything she did.

Amanda and her husband, Steve, shared 17 beautiful years of marriage, built on love, friendship, and shared passions. They enjoyed cheering on the Broncos, as well as spending time kayaking, fishing, and making memories with their family.

She attended EWC and earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ashford University. Amanda dedicated her career to serving her community, working at Platte Valley Bank, the County Treasurer's Office, and most recently at St. Joseph's, where she spent the past four years as a Billing Specialist.

Amanda will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the light she brought into the lives of those around her. She had a way of making people feel welcome, loved, and valued.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Steve; her daughter, Selena; her granddaughter, Avleen; and their fur baby, Stanley. She is also survived by her loving parents, Michael and Sandy Rose; her brother, Philip; and her extended family, including the Weber, Rose, Moore, McCoy, Keefer, Howe, and Dominguez families, all of whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her aunt Dixie and her beloved dog, Swixie.
