Obituary published on Legacy.com by Family Service Funeral Parlor on Mar. 18, 2026.
Eloisa Briones Dominguez of Discovery Bay, CA, age 85, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 in Concord, CA. She was born on July 11, 1940 in Pecos, TX to Ynes and Nestora (Briones) Dominguez.

Eloisa was a woman of many talents who loved creating with her hands. An artist at heart, she enjoyed oil painting and working with pastels, and she spent countless hours doing arts and crafts, sewing, crocheting, woodworking, and decorating for Christmas. Known for her creativity and determination, she could do anything she set her mind to-from working as a mechanic to preparing incredible meals in the kitchen.

Eloisa's faith was her foundation she built her life around. She was a member of both Catholic Churches in Kermit, St. Thomas, and St. Joseph churches. She raised her children to know and love Lord Jesus Christ as her kids taught their children as well. She was also a dedicated Catechism teacher who faithfully helped clean and care for her church. She was deeply involved in the Christmas and Easter Sunday Masses with children, First Holy Communions, and many other church events. She encouraged all her kids to be Alter Boys and Girls.

Eloisa took immense pride in serving her community. She created the veteran sign in Winkler County that honors residents who fought in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. She had 3 United States Veteran children whom severed in the Armed Forces. She was a devoted mother who loved cheering for her children at their sporting events and welcoming their friends into her home as if they were her own. She was lovingly known by her family as "Loi," "Wheezy," and "The Queen," titles that reflected both the affection and admiration her family had for her.

She was proceeded in death by her parents: Ynes and Nestora Dominguez; son: Roland Berzoza; son-in-law: John Winston Clark; ex daughter-in-law Anna Garcia brother: Ricardo Dominguez; and granddaughter: Whitney Berzoza. We take comfort in knowing they welcomed her with open arms.
