Emma Dominguez, the matriarch of a large, loving family, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, in
McAllen, Texas. Born on March 4, 1934, in
Hidalgo, Texas to the late Francisco and the late Virginia (Gonzalez) Guerra, Emma's radiant smile and generous spirit were a blessing to all who knew her throughout her 92 years of life.
Emma's journey on Earth was marked by an unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Her kindness and lively spirit were the cornerstones of her character. She carried these traits with her as she raised her children: Estela, Feliciano (Chano), Martin, Jorge, Andrea, Ofelia, Enrique, and Jose Luis. Emma's love for her family was boundless, and her legacy continues through her 35 grandchildren and numeroud31 great-grandchildren. Though she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Teodulo Dominguez and three sons-Gustavo, Jesus, and Ernesto-her nurturing presence and lessons of compassion remain as guiding lights in their memory.
Emma's home was always filled with music, a passion that she shared with everyone around her.
