Bobby "Sonny" Bennett

Bobby "Sonny" Bennett, 73, of Searcy died Monday, November 18th at the V.A. Hospital in Little Rock. He was born June 16, 1940 to the late Gavin Bennett and Lillian Gassaway Bennett in Stuttgart, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, RuthAnn Bennett; one brother, Larry Bennett and wife, Debbie Bennett; two nieces, Shelia Heir, and Sheila Bennett Mattfeld; one nephew, Kenny Bennett; He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins; four stepsons; one stepdaughter and several grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Louise Bennett; one son, Bobby Wayne Bennett and one brother, Jerry Bennett. Visiting hours are 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 21st at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
