Bobby Wilson Bolen

 

Bobby Wilson Bolen, age 76, of Beckley, left this world to be with his Savior on January 22, 2023 after bravely fighting multiple illnesses.

Those left to love and remember him are: his wife of 56 years, Joyce Bolen, daughter and son-in-law Carolyn and Trampus Walker, grandsons Hunter Walker, Stephen Walker and his wife, Shanine Walker, granddaughter Jessika Polatty, great grandson Evanlee, great granddaughter, Rose Lynn, great grandsons Tyler and Christian Linksweiler, his remaining brothers and sister, Roger Bolen, Thomas Bolen, Charles Bolen, Dwayne Boling, and Phyllis Mustafo. His loyal dogs, Sam, Penny, and Suzie will miss his lap, too.

After retiring from coal mining, Bobby was always ready to go fishing, work in his garden, and cook the best country meals for his loved ones. The family has comfort in knowing that Bobby is with Jesus and rejoined in heaven with his son, Bobby Lee Bolen, daughter, Teresa Bolen, his departed brothers, sister, and parents. We will love and miss Bobby until we meet again in heaven.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023 in Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B with Pastor Dwayne Wiliams officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 until service time on Thursday at Sunset.
