Bobby Lance Brooks was born as a twin to the union of Gene and Jerrye Brooks on July 20, 1963 in Abilene, Texas. Bobby attended Abilene public schools until the family moved to Fort Worth, Texas. There he continued his education in FWISD. At a young age Bobby liked working with his hands. As told by mom “he stayed in constant trouble for taking apart her small appliances and putting them back together.” Bobby took up boxing and later became a DJ as well as a welding, by trade. His love for music is known to all. He loved to play his albums for all to hear or he would jam all by himself. Bobby also loved to light up his “prized barbecue/grill’. He loved being with family and friends. If you called him on the phone he was either watching First 48 or Wheel of Fortune. He liked watching the Dallas Cowboys and tailgating at TCU football games with Bruce Ashworth.
