Carla Swayze Davis, age 60, of Arlington, Texas passed away on February 3rd, 2026, in Hurst.
Carla was born on October 16th, 1965, in Galveston, to Martin and Lou Ann Swayze. She dedicated her life to raising a family and spreading God’s Word.
She is survived by her husband, Lecile Davis; children, Julie Davis Buhake and her husband, Nate, and Janell Davis; and siblings, MarLu Swayze Hiller and Walter Swayze and his wife, Julie Swayze. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lou Ann Swayze and her brother-in-law, Lewis Hiller.
Carla was known for her humor, exuberant personality, and erce love of God’s Word. She had a passion for creating, whether it was sewing out ts for her children, building her own furniture, or tie-dying shirts. Carla will be remembered for her unyielding faith in God and His plan for her, especially in the face of the many health challenges she endured.
A celebration of life will be held on February 11th, 2026 at 2pm, at Lake Church, 2912 Little Rd, Arlington, TX 76016.
