Bobby Eugene Brown

Bobby Eugene Brown, a cherished brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, in Chickasha, OK, at the age of 86. He was born on December 31, 1939, in Grady County, to the late Bill and Etta (Golden) Brown, and grew up surrounded by the love and laughter of a large and caring family.

No Services are scheduled at this time, all cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services.

A proud veteran, Bobby served his country with honor in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963, a period of his life he always held in high regard. After his service, he returned to his roots and became a well-known figure in the community, working as a dedicated truck driver for many years. His strong work ethic and friendly nature made him a respected colleague and a valued friend to many.

Bobby's educational journey began and concluded in the halls of Rush Springs Public Schools, where he formed friendships and memories that lasted a lifetime. He carried the lessons learned and the values instilled in those early years throughout his life.

A devout Christian, Bobby was an active member of the Church of God Shidler, where he found spiritual solace and fellowship. His faith was a cornerstone of his existence, guiding his actions and his interactions with others.

Bobby's interests were as genuine and warm-hearted as he was. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like completing puzzles, playing dominoes, and engaging in games with friends and family. His laughter was infectious, and his ability to find fun in every situation made every gathering brighter.

Those who knew Bobby would describe him as loving, funny, and friendly. He was a beacon of light in the lives of those he touched, always ready to lend a hand or share a joke. His presence was a source of comfort and joy, and his absence will be deeply felt by all.

Bobby is survived by his loving sister, Peggy Ratliff of Oklahoma, and his dear sister-in-law, Cheris Brown. His life was enriched by the bonds he shared with his family, and he will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Juanita Davis, who was his companion and best friend. Together, they shared a life full of love and companionship. His passing also follows that of his parents, Bill and Etta (Golden) Brown, his sisters, June Stringfellow and Arva Guffee, and his brother, Jerry Brown.
