Mr. Bobby Dwain Buttram, age 86 of Cedartown, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 28, 2025, at his residence. Born in Polk County on June 25, 1939, he was the son of the late John Lewis Buttram and the late Ruby Easterwood Wheeler. In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his children Johnny and Darlene.
For many years, Bobby was a coin and sports memorabilia dealer, but as his health declined, he mainly bought and sold coins. Bobby cherished taking care of his little Shih Tzu, Lucy. He will be dearly missed by his family.
His survivors include his wife, Teresa Buttram of Cedartown; his daughter and son-in-law, Christina & Brandon Johnson of Rome; and his son and daughter-in-law, Eddie & Margaret Buttram of Corbin, Kentucky.
In keeping with Mr. Buttram's wishes, he will be cremated.
The family will host a celebration of life for Bobby on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Westside Congregational Holiness Church in Piedmont, Alabama, at 11:30 Georgia time. (10:30 Alabama time)
