Bobby Catlett, 81, died on October 21, 2025, at home with his family after a short illness. Born on January 5, 1944, in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, to the late Ralph Davis and Maudie Katherine Adkinson Catlett. Bobby was a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle, known for his warmth, humor, and love of life.
Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Catlett, sisters Peggy Ann Harmon, and twin sister Bonnie M Dunsmore.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 47 years, Elsie Lucas Catlett, who shared countless cherished moments with him throughout their journey together. He is also survived by his step-children, Stewart (Ann) King and Rodney (Balerie) King, his grandchildren, Ashley King, Bryan (Laura) King, Jessica (Clayton) Davis, Taylor (Gage) Camic, his niece, Kathy Carmen, great niece Bobbie Jo (Gabe) Owens, and several other nieces and nephews. Each of these family member held a special place in Bobby's heart, and they will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
The visitation will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City, followed by a funeral service at. at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City, with Rev. Choe Sargent officiating. Pallbearers will be Gage Camic, Bryan Carman, Clayton Davis, Bryan King, Brad Luttrell, and Gabe Owens. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Bobby was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him, and he will be dearly missed. We invite you to join us in remembering him with love and laughter, just as he would have wanted.
