Bobby Dean Coe, Jr., 70, of Hamilton, took his final ride on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family. Known in his younger years for a rebellious spirit and a love for the fast lane, Bobby lived life on his own terms from the very beginning.
He was born December 1, 1955, in Sedan, the son of Bobby Dean, Sr. and Nona Marie (Hall) Coe. He was raised in Sedan and attended local schools. Following his schooling, he entered the workforce and later earned his G.E.D.
In 1973, Bobby married Sandy Oliver, and to this union, a daughter was born. This marriage later ended in divorce. On May 9, 1994, Bobby was united in marriage to Christina “Chris” Fletcher in Hamilton. Together, they raised four children and later welcomed Hannah into the fold.
He was a bit of a wild child in his younger days. Partying, riding his Harley, and going fast were his idea of a good life. He was an avid noodler and, above all, loved his family. Though his health declined over the years and slowed him down, he always tried to remain involved in family dinners, “just because” gatherings, and his grandchildren’s lives. He possessed an amazing sense of humor and, although he was old-fashioned, he tried to understand today’s world, make amends where he could, and help anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife, Christina of Hamilton; five children: Shannon Fehrenbach of Ness City, Rebecca Coe of Potwin, Bobby Coe of Beaumont, Jessie Coe of Halstead, and Hannah Boyd of Wichita; twelve grandchildren: Keegan, Joseph, Cruz, Cash, Hadley, Chevy, Cetch, Macyn, Chaz, Bentlee, Emersyn, and Indie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jack Edward Coe; two grandsons, Jacksyn and Kingslee; one brother, Norman Dale Coe; and one nephew, Norman Dale Coe.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Koup Family Funeral, Home, Eureka, with Mr. Judd Everitt officiating. Interment will follow at Janesville Cemetery, Hamilton. Visitation hours are set for 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Koup Family Funeral Home to assist with expenses. Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, Kansas 67045.
