Bobby Coleman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home - Lewiston on Apr. 25, 2024.
Bobby L. Coleman was born on Aug. 15, 1955, to Helen Ralstin Coleman and Robert D. Coleman, in Lewiston. He passed away at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center on Saturday, April 20, 2024, as a result of cancer and its related health problems.
Bobby was the third of four children in the family and lived all of his younger years at the family home in Lapwai. He attended Lapwai Elementary School and graduated from Lapwai High School in 1974, where he had enjoyed participating in football, basketball and FFA. He also participated in 4-H and won grand champion with his steer at the Nez Perce County Fair during his senior year. He was a member of the 49ers Saddle Club and, at one point, served as president. In recent years, he was a volunteer firefighter and enjoyed playing darts.
Bobby lived most of his life in the Lewiston and Lapwai areas where he worked for Larry Boyer Farms and Potlatch, Inc.
He married Terri Lake and they had a son, Justin. He married Roni Roberge and they had a son, Bobby Jr., and he welcomed Roni's children from a previous marriage, as well as Roni's adopted son. He then married Teresa Williams and moved to Carmine, Texas. He returned to the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley and found a caring partner in Kelli Jones.
Bobby was preceded in passing by his mother and father and his paternal and maternal grandparents. He also lost his best friend, Roch Wilson, at an early age. He is survived by his brother Mike Coleman (Carol) of Lewiston; his sister Linda Ellis (Ben) of Evington, Va.; his sister Debbie Briceno (Mike) of Lapwai; his son Justin Coleman of Lewiston and his sons Theodore and Lincoln; his son Bobby Jr. Coleman of Kendrick, and his daughters Veronica and Keeley; as well as numerous other children who loved him and called him grandpa, and daughters Raina Davis and Stephanie Schoenfeldt, and sons Nathan Coleman and Shawn McDowell.
Malcolm's Brower-Wann Funeral Home of Lewiston is in charge of arrangements; cremation has taken place. A gathering of friends and family will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Wooden Nickel, 931 Bryden Ave., Lewiston.
