Bobby "Duane" Conditt, 65, of Bartlesville, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Bartlesville.

He died in his sleep at his mother's, a house he had called home since he was 2 years old. Duane was born October 1, 1960, in Tulsa, OK, to James Junior Conditt and Betty June (Witherspoon) Conditt. He attended Bartlesville Public Schools, graduating from Col-Hi in 1978. He then moved himself and his two young boys to Okmulgee and earned his associate degree in HVAC from OSU-Tech. He later taught HVAC at three different schools and worked as an HVAC technician for his entire working career. He loved working at AAON for the last 12 years. They were like a family to him.

Duane married Frankie Dotson on May 3, 1995, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his large family. He gave his kids and grandkids funny nicknames and made lots of "dad" jokes. Duane was a very intelligent man. He was a history buff and read a lot of books. He enjoyed watching war movies. Music was a large part of Duane's life. After high school he and some friends started a band called Iron Cloud, which would become somewhat popular at local venues. He played the guitar and did vocals, and that love for music and playing instruments would inevitably be passed down to his boys.

Duane really enjoyed the family gatherings, especially Christmas, where his kids and growing number of grandkids provided a wild, chaotic atmosphere. He loved watching them open their gifts. He loved grilling and cooking, and he made the absolute best fried rice. He was a big fan of Frankie's fried chicken and was known as the "chicken thief". He loved going to the family dinners, but he also loved getting home and taking a nap with a full belly in his recliner. Duane leaves a gaping hole in his family's lives and he will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his former wife, Frankie Conditt; five children, Michael "Mike" Conditt and his fiancée Randie Gentry, James Conditt and his wife Tiffany, Katy House and her husband Chris, Nick Dancer and his wife Karrie, and Johnathan Dancer and his wife Leah; his mother, Betty June Conditt; a sister, Sue Rogers; 23 grandchildren; and a host of extended family and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Junior Conditt; and a brother, James "Larry" Conditt.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2025, at Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 4201 Nowata Rd., Bartlesville, OK 74006, 918-333-7665.
