Bobby Eatmon Obituary

Bobby Eatmon, 88 of Wilson, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025.

Mr. Eatmon was born on November 14, 1937, to Thomas and Lorraine Eatmon. He is a native of Wilson County, and a retiree from US Airways/Piedmont Airlines/Delta, after thirty-five years, in May of 1991. He spent his retired years farming in Wilson County. He loved his family, and attended Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church for fifty plus years. He served in the US Air Force Reserves from 1960 until 1966.

He was a husband to his wife for sixty-eight years until she passed, a father, grandfather, and brother. His legacy was one of devotion, hard work and service. We will miss his stories, of which he had many!

Mr. Eatmon is survived by his son, Bobby Kyle Eatmon, and wife Ivana; grandchildren, Bobby Kyle Eatmon, Jr., and Biez Almeida, and his wife Hannah; great-granddaughter, Alexandra Kate "Lexi" Eatmon; brother, James Thomas Eatmon and his wife Mary C. "Betsy" Eatmon; nephews, Thomas L. "Toby" Eatmon and wife Valerie, Gregory L. "Greg" Baker and wife Lynn; nieces, Lori J Battleate, Lita D. Eatmon-Ponciano and husband Patrick, Jennifer Evans, and Pattie M. Mildon and husband Ed.

Preceding him in death are his wife, Juanita "Neta" Eatmon, and his parents.

A private memorial service will be held with the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090.
