Bobby Dean Fielder, 86, passed away peacefully in his sleep June 3, 2024. He was born December 22, 1937 in Lavaca, AR to Idus Howell and Athlene Fielder. He married Irene Rimmer on August 23, 1959.
He was retired from Boulder Valley School District where he was a coach, math teacher and FCA Huddle Leader. He also later retired from Frontier Airlines where he worked as a customer service representative. He was a Mason and a Shriner.
As a lifelong coach he never met someone he didn't try and help. He lived his entire life without ever meeting a stranger and was willing to help anyone he came across. He had a passion for the Denver Broncos and watched his team from the north end zone for over 50 years. The greatest gifts in his life were his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching them in their sporting events and extra-curricular activities and enjoyed every minute he got to spend with them. He lived out his faith and today we celebrate because he is with his Savior in heaven.
He was preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life and wife of 50 years, Irene Fielder.
Survivors include his son, Greg and his wife Ginger and sons, Tyler (Hilary) and Troy of Broomfield; son Tim and his wife Tammy of Little Rock, AR and children Ryan (Noelle) of Bentonville, AR, Rileigh, Addie, Aaron, Brody and Brinley of Little Rock; AR; Brothers Jim (Rita) and Larry (Karen) of Guy AR, Sister Jean Ann Lee (Louis) of Heber Springs, AR; Sisters-in-Law Franz Horton of North Little Rock, AR and Janice Cooley of Houma, LA. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, students and friends.
A memorial service is planned for June 22, 2024 at Reclamation Church, 7690 Baseline Rd, Boulder, CO at 10 am and a celebration of life will be July 27, 2024 at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Guy AR at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Broomfield Special Olympics c/o PDRC 13201 Lowell Blvd, Broomfield CO 80020 ATTN: Therapeutic Recreation or Fellowship of Christian Athletes Colorado.

Math never felt like it made sense to me until Mr Fielder“s class. He was a great teacher and a kind man who made a difference in my life and the lives of my students now.

My first memory of Bobby was on the football field. His loved his grandkids. He was so supportive and came to all the games . John and I enjoyed all our conversations with him. We will miss him.
