Bobby Marvin Gold

Bobby Gold passed away on Feb. 21, 2026 in Fredericksburg at the age of 68 years. He was born Nov. 22, 1957 in Kerrville to Beverly and Alma Gold.

Bobby worked part-time in the grocery business as a sacker and checker while in high school and graduated in the Class of 1976. In the summers of '77 and '78 his work included mass produce marketing while he attended college courses and also sold books bought from the Southwestern Company as a door-to-door sales business at commission. Then in '79-'80 he worked at Woosley Engineering in San Antonio doing mechanical drafting and designing.

He went to Texas A&M University graduating in the class of 1982. He worked at Hewlett-Packard Co. in San Antonio from 1982-1996.

Bobby loved going to the lake water skiing and boat riding.

He moved back to Fredericksburg and enjoyed working on a ranch near Enchanted Rock for many years, and worked at the nursing home some before he retired.

A service will be held on March 27, 2026 at 10AM in the First Baptist Church, Fredericksburg. Viewing will be from 9AM – 10AM in the church before the service.

Burial will follow in the Sisterdale Cemetery, Sisteredale, TX.
