Mr. Bobby James Hadden

Mr. Bobby James Hadden, 90, of Langley, SC, beloved husband of fifty-two years to Millerdean "Melody" Hayes Hadden, entered into rest suddenly on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, while in the comfort of his home.
Born in Augusta, GA, and a resident of Langley, SC, since 2014, Bobby was the son of the late Luther S. and Mildred Kimble Hadden. He retired as a foreman from the Richmond County Board of Education.
Bobby always had a great outlook on life. He was the true definition of an Optimist. Bobby always found something good in everyone. He enjoyed camping trips with Melody, keeping his yard immaculate, and could fix anything. However, more than anything, he enjoyed being with his family, especially his bride.
A Master Mason, Brother Bobby was a member of Horse Creek Masonic Lodge, #174, A.F.M., and the Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of Langley Bible Church.
Along with his wife, Melody, Bobby is loved and missed, and his memory will remain eternal in the hearts of his daughter, Michelle Preece, Melody's children whom Bobby loved as if they were his own, Martha Ann Moyer and Pat Clayton, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Also, preceding Bobby in death were a son, Robert S. Hadden; Melody's children, Carl E. Toole, Jr., and Danny L. Toole; and siblings, Jerry Hadden, Franklin Hadden, and Betty Jean Page.
The family will greet friends Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10 o'clock at the Langley Bible Church, Langley, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11 o'clock at the church. Pastor Gene Brown and Charles "Bubba" Moyer will officiate. Interment with Masonic Rites accorded by Horse Creek Masonic Lodge, #174, A.F.M., will follow in Langley Cemetery, Langley, SC. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Gene Herron, Jr., Stevie Herron, Eddie Moyer, Charles "Bubba" Moyer, Brenden Moyer, and Donald "K-9" Keenan.
