B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home & CrematoryHUCKABY, Bobby Dale, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on February 3, 2026, at the age of 78. He was born on November 6, 1947, in Adair County, KY, the son of the late Obie and Rena (nee Bryant) Huckaby.
Bobby is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Linda Huckaby (nee Meadows). Loving father of Gena (Greg) Sander, Stephanie (Jeff) Steiner, and Jason Huckaby. Cherished grandfather Tyler (Maddie Scherpenberg) Sander, Tara Sander, and Olivia Steiner. Dear brother of Gerald (Mary West) Huckaby. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Bobby is preceded in passing by his dear sister Shirley (Don) Kipp.
Bobby was a master electrician for 40 years, owning his own business B&G Electric Company.
Family was the most important thing in the world to Bobby.
Vacations and time spent enjoying life brought Bobby immense joy. Whether boating on Dale Hollow Lake with family, traveling to Saint Martin with his beloved Linda, or making treasured memories during family trips to Gatlinburg, Florida, and countless other destinations, he embraced every opportunity to relax, explore, and be together.
He enjoyed having beautiful flowers and was very proud of his Christmas cactus.
A fan of “The King”, Bobby enjoyed spending time listening to Elvis, Kenny Rogers and Bob Seger.
A Celebration of Life will be held at on SUNDAY, February 15, 2026, the Public House, 3807 North Bend Rd., from 12:00PM to 4:00PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati at PO BOX 633597 Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597.
