Bobby Daniel McLaurin,, Jr., 61, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at his residence in Norwood.
Mr. McLaurin was born September 4, 1961 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Bobby Daniel McLaurin, Sr. and the late Connie Mae Henry McLaurin.
Bobby loved the outdoors, motorcycles, and mechanics. He was a welder and mechanic, but most of all loved fishing and camping with his children and grandchildren, all of them being boys but one, Tayler Ray his baby girl.
He is survived by his wife of almost 44 years Dorothy Drake McLaurin; his sons, Jeff Riley McLaurin, Jesse Daniel McLaurin, Timothy Ray McLaurin; daughter, Seana Mullikin; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Friday at 2:00 pm at Barbee's Grove Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Ed Lowder. Burial will follow at the Barbee's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 24819-A Barbees Grove Church Road, Oakboro.
