Nicholas Reith Jr., 59, of Fort Wayne, passed away on August 9, 2022. He was born on June 26, 1963, in Fort Wayne, to Nick and Irene (Hilger) Reith. He spent his formative years in Fort Wayne. Nick was married in Fort Wayne, on August 28, 1987, to Annette Leon. Nick loved the outdoors, camping, and going on adventures with his children. He loved to be silly and dance to his favorite songs. He enjoyed the holidays and especially singing Christmas carols with all of his extended family. Nick had many things he was passionate about, including music, reading the lives of the Saints, dressing nicely (with sharp creases), peanut butter and ranch dressing, and most especially his deep and profound love of Jesus. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Annette Reith; his parents, Nick and Irene Reith; his four children, Rashelle (Phil) Cupa, Chelsey (Brandan Smith) Reith, Alexander (Isabella Koontz) Reith, and Devin (Katie Traxler) Reith; his siblings, Karen (Rod) McNelly, John (Sarah) Reith, Shari (Jerry) Straessle, Mary Jo (Bill) Parrish, and Jessica (John) Filutze; seven beautiful grandchildren; over 100 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Mary Reith and Henry and Sally Hilger; his baby sister, Rosemarie Reith, who now dances with her big brother in heaven to the sounds of angel choirs. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., at Saint Vincent de Paul Parish, 1502 E. Wallen Rd Fort Wayne, IN 46825, with calling one hour prior to the Funeral Mass.
