Bobby Lavoise Malone, 81, entered into rest on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
Bobby was born on March 1, 1943, in Gurley, Alabama to the late Owen and Martha Malone. A longtime resident of Warner Robins, he spent his last several years in Montezuma. Bobby enjoyed all the time he could spend making memories with the ones he loved. Married 54 years to the love of his life, Bobby and Emily enjoyed spending time with each other doing anything from making cabinets to being on the water and fishing together. He told her every day that he loved her, and they were joined at the hip. He was a great dad and a proud grandfather; his children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments were his pride and joy. His mom was also at the top of his priority list before her passing. The love he had for her was unmatched. Bobby was an incredible builder. While his job was cabinetry, his building skills shone as he built one of his daughter’s homes. Known for being charming and quick witted, Bobby would have given the shirt off his back for his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Lavoise Malone, Jr., and siblings, Ouida Glisson, and Neil Malone.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of 54 years, Emily Reaves Malone; children, Natalie Wilson (David) of Warner Robins, Rhonda Faircloth (Anthony) of Byron, Sandy Fulford (Chris) of Ball Ground, Mandy Wingard (David) of Americus, and Angie Murray (Steve) of Montezuma; grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson of Kathleen, Blake Driver (Ally) of Warner Robins, Kasey Sellars (Jody) of Ellaville, Morgan Howard (Seth) of Warner Robins, and Sarah Fulford and Grace Fulford, both of Savannah; siblings, James Malone of Cochran, Tommy Malone (Patsy) of Perry, and Dean Malone of Kathleen, along with six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday May 23, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
