Bobby Joe Maxwell

Rev. Bobby Joe Maxwell Sr., age 72, of Bowman, GA. passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born July 15, 1949 in Elberton, GA. to the late Joe S. Maxwell and Evelyn Maxwell Maxwell. He was a brick mason. and Pastor. He was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Maxwell is survived by his wife; Katie Rutledge Maxwell, children; Bobby "Pete" Maxwell Jr. (Amanda), Brenda Cooper (Donnie), Phillip Maxwell (Cady), grandchildren; Alex and Nicole, great grandchildren; Brook, Brinsley, and Evelyn Jo, and sister; Faye Brown. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother; Johnny Maxwell.
Funeral services for Rev. Bobby Maxwell will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Three o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Rev. Leon Pierce will officiate. He will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends Friday, October. 15, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. The family will be at the home, 2282 Fork Creek Road in Bowman.
