Ms. Felicia Daphne Blackwell, age 61 of Bowman GA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Born on July 12, 1964 in Hartwell GA. Felicia was the daughter of the late Raymond Wilkins Sr. and Barbara (Rucker) Wilkins. While we are heartbroken by her passing, we take comfort and even smile in knowing she is rejoicing in heaven. She lived a life grounded in faith and love. Her faith was steady, her heart was generous, and her sense of humor was unforgettable.
Felicia was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who believed that joy was a gift from God and laughter was good for the soul. She had a way of lifting spirits, easing worries, and reminding others that even in life's hardest moments, God is still good. A faithful believer, she found strength in prayer and joy in fellowship, music, and family gatherings. She loved her family fiercely and her faith unapologetically. Her life reflected Proverbs 17:22, "A joyful heart is good medicine."
In addition to her mother the memories and legacy of Felicia shall be carried on by her daughters Brandy (Charles) McIntosh Jr. and Jazmine (Kevae) Crawford. Her sister Fonda (Rufus) Hill Jr. Her grandchildren Cedricus Murray, Ateja McIntosh, Charles McIntosh lll, Braylan McIntosh, Collin McIntosh, and honorary grandchild Kevin Gresham Jr., Aunts: Jennie Jordan, Zelma Hudson, Glenda (Bennie) Harper, Theresa Holland, Gertrude Heard, Mary Wilkins, Uncles : Roy (Bridgett) Lester Wilkins, Kenneth Wilkins, Kenneth Wilkins, Willie (Pearl) Wilkins, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her father Felicia is preceded in death by her daughter Breana Blackwell and her brother Raymond Wilkins Jr.
A celebration of her life and faith will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Rucker's Grove Baptist Church. Felicia will lie in state at the church from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour. Felicia will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. The family invites all who attend to remember her not only with tears, but with smiles and gratitude. Though we grieve her passing, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life, confident that she is now healed, whole, and rejoicing in the presence of Jesus.
