Bobby McCready Obituary
Robert spent over 30 years as a Meter Technician with ARKLA Gas, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to his work and the utilities industry. Beyond his professional life, Robert's adventurous nature guided him to a variety of hobbies. He served as an umpire for Little League and High School Baseball, worked with Explorers Scouts, and was a regular participant in activities at the Pope County Senior Adult Activity Center in Russellville. With a love for travel, a knack for photography, and a passion for political discourse, he was never short of conversation or companionship. His courage and dedication also shone through his 25-year tenure as a Volunteer Fire Fighter with the Russellville Fire Department.
Robert will be lovingly remembered by his son, Todd (Kristen) McCready; his granddaughter, McKenzie McCready; and his brothers, William (Ramona) McCready and Richard McCready. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lola McCready, and his loving wife, Judy McCready.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, 26th August 2023 at 10:00am at Oakland Cemetery, 917 South Detroit Avenue, Russellville, Arkansas, 7280m, under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service and the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center. In honor of Robert's love for his community, memorial donations can be made to the Pope County Senior Adult Activity Center, 1010 North Rochester Ave., Russellville, AR 72802.
