Bobby Gean Ogg, Sr., age 83, of Adams, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock am, Wednesday, January 7th, at Stroudsville Church of Christ in Adams with his son, Bobby Ogg, Jr., and his nephew, Brian Albright officiating.

Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Springfield with Bobby Ogg, III, Alec Wimmer, Luke Tucker, Zachary Huff, Mark Bourne, Brian Albright, Bryson Albright, and Johnny Schaadt serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Culley Holt, Mark "BooJay" Barnett, Gary Hammer, Tom Boatwright, John Herron, Randy Davis, Mike Winters, and Rocky Shepard.

The family will receive friends at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View on Tuesday, January 6th from 4:00-8:00PM, and again on Wednesday at the church beginning at 10:00AM until the hour of service at 11:00AM.

Mr. Bobby was born on September 20, 1942, in Adams, Tennessee, to the late Emmett & Della Ogg. He was a farmer and previously worked at Trane for 20 years. He enjoyed bowling in leagues and avidly supported his family in sports. However, nothing brought him more pleasure than watching his son/grandkids in their extracurricular activities. He also loved to eat out with family, especially the 'bloomin onion" at Outback. He was a member of Stroudsville Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne Ogg and Joe "Willard" Ogg; sisters, Dorothy Nell Ogg, Marion Ogg, Ludell Bourne (Donald); and mother of his children, Carol Ogg.

He is survived by son, Bobby (Amanda) Ogg Jr.; daughter, Carla (Johnny) Schaadt; sister, Patsy (John) Herron; grandchildren, Alec (Madison) Wimmer, Brittney (Isaac) Bourne, Abigail (Luke) Tucker, Allison (Zachary) Huff, and Bobby (Charley) Ogg, III; and 4 great-grandchildren, Mary Anne Huff, Emmett Bourne, Gia Bourne, and Ambrose Bourne; and loving nieces & nephews.
