Bobby J. Packett

Bobby Joseph Packett, son of the late Robert and Josephine (Moyer) Packett, was born on July 10, 1964 and departed this life on January 10, 2023. At the time of his passing, he was fifty-eight years and six months of age.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four siblings, Howard Parks, Nancy Richards, Terry Tupper and Julie Collier.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Packett; two children, Stevie Packett and Bryan Packett and fiancé Lindsay Williams; five grandchildren, Tyler Packett-Jones, Erika Packett-Jones, Ariana Lira, Braelyn Packett and Serenity Packett; and two siblings, Dale and wife Glenda Packett and Sharon and wife Kristina Packett. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will all truly miss him.
Bobby born in Kansas City, Missouri and at an early age, the family moved to Omaha, Nebraska where he was raised and attended school. Once he finished his schooling, he moved to Colorado where he would meet Brenda Martinez and worked in construction. Together, they moved back to Omaha, where they were united in marriage on February 14, 1986 and raised their two children. While in Omaha, Bobby worked for the carpenters union and after he had been laid off, began his own construction business.
In his spare time he enjoyed watching football, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers games. Most of all, Bobby loved and cherished the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren.
He was a loving husband, father & grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
