In Loving Memory of Bobby Joe Parks Jr.
September 3, 1975 – July 9, 2025
Bobby Parks Jr. (affectionately known as Toe Joe), age 49, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025 at Skyline Medical Center. He was born on September 3, 1975 in Nashville, TN. Bobby was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving parents, Bobby Parks Sr. and Joyce Parks; his children, Savannah (Zach) Morris and Caleb Parks; his cherished grandchildren, Royce and Raynen Morris; his loyal brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Cyndi Parks; his nephew Austin Parks and nieces Bailey (Kody) Ratcliff and Emma Parks and great niece Maddie Ratcliff. He also leaves behind his devoted, long-time partner, Susan Harmon and their beloved dog Valcore, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who held a special place in his heart.
Bobby was a man of many passions. He was a proud supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, loved riding his Harley Davidson, and had a deep affection for dogs. He was proud of his father's family pool business where he spent many of his days trialling bottoms of in ground pools. He spent some years living in Florida in his childhood that developed a deep love of the ocean and surfing. More than anything, he treasured time spent with his grandchildren, who brought light and joy into his life.
Though Bobby faced challenges in his earlier years, his story became one of redemption and transformation. He found peace and purpose in his faith, committing his life to Jesus and striving to love others with the same grace he received. His testimony is a reminder of the power of hope, faith, and unconditional love. Bobby was known for his big heart and compassion to all. Even in his passing, he was able to save two others by organ donation.
Visitation will be held at Simple Church, located at 1909 US-31W, White House, TN 37188, on Saturday, July 19th from 1:00–3:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 3:00 PM officiated by his son-in-law Pastor Zach Morris.
Bobby's memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. His life, though marked by trials, was also a testament to strength, growth, and enduring love.
Flowers may be sent to his parents at 7341 Ruby Keith Rd. White House, TN 37188. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Celebrate Recovery that Bobby believed in.
