Funeral services for Bobby D Pate is Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at McKenzie Church of Christ. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Hinkledale Cemetery
Mr. Pate, 76 years old, died at Baptist Memorial Hospital Carroll Co. on March 16, 2025. He is a retired Police Chief for the City of McKenzie, a member of McKenzie Church of Christ and an Army Veteran. He is born on June 26, 1948, in McKenzie to Johnnie and Nell Stewart Pate.
He is survived by his wife Gloria Kee Pate, two sons Jeremy (Gina) Pate and Joel (Amanda) Pate all of McKenzie, a daughter Nicole (Marcus) Williamson of Clarksville, and thirteen grandchildren Emma (Austin) Anderson, Sydney Pate, Lydia Pate, Sophie Pate, Olivia Pate, Jaden Pate, Willow Pate, Beau Pate, Gavin Hicks, Nevaeh Williamson, Hailee Williamson Zachary Clark and Gracie Clark and two great grandchildren Jachsyn and Lily.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother James "Jim" Pate, his sister Frances Helen Vick and two grandchildren Drake Pate and Heaven Williamson.
