Bobby Ray Pece

Bobby Ray Pece Sr of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, October 16th, 2022,
at the young age of 62. After battling lung cancer for almost five years, Bobby passed away
peacefully with his beloved wife Tina, their Daughter Betty, and five of their grandchildren by his
side. Bobby was born on July 15th, 1960 in Oklahoma City to Sam and Pearl Pece, he was the
fifth oldest of eight kids.
Bobby grew up doing little odd jobs here and there with his dad to make money and help put
food on the table for his family. His work ethic and determination carried over when he started
his own family with his newlywed wife, Tina and their first born, Bobby Jr. "Jake", who came
along one year later. Siblings Jerry, Betty, and Richard soon followed and Bobby was tasked
with his own fatherly duties. Bobby raised his kids the same way as he was raised. His world
revolved around his children, and eventually his grandchildren as well.
Later on, Bobby picked up a newfound hobby in the form of dirt track racing, which would soon
become a family tradition with his two sons and oldest grandson. After retiring from driving,
Bobby enjoyed watching both his sons and grandson race any chance he could. Outside of
racing, Bobby enjoyed spending quality time with all of his grandchildren, whether it be helping
them with homework or going to visit their uncle Jake at his race shop.
Bobby enjoyed gathering with his family and telling stories of the "Good Times" as he called it.
That could be anything from nights at the racetrack or just recalling all those nights of karaoke
down at the bar with his siblings. Bobby never met a stranger in his life, he would talk to just
about anyone if they had an ear to listen.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Pearl, his sisters Barbara and Betty, his
brothers Leonard and Sammy. He is survived by sisters Lela, Lucy, and Edith; his children,
Bobby Jr. and daughter in law Behareh, Jerry and girlfriend Tammy, Betty and boyfriend Cledell,
Richard and daughter in law Christle; grandchildren Bobby III (BobbyBoy) and grand daughter in
law Autumn (Autumn Bottom), Desiree (DP), Peyton (PeyPey), Behareh Joann (BJ) and
boyfriend Nic, Brooklyn (Booken), Miya (MyMy), Chris Jr (JR), Matthew (MattMatt), Marley
(MarleyBug). And countless other family members.
