Bobby Gus Randolph, of Madison, KS, passed away on April 22, 2025, at Newman Regional Health in Emporia, Kansas. He was born on November 1, 1941, in Burnsville, North Carolina, the youngest son of Wilkie and Ada Randolph. He spent his childhood in Burnsville, attending school and graduating from Cane River High School. Bobby dedicated his life to his family and his work as a welder in various construction projects, including the building of Wolf Creek Nuclear Plant in Coffey County. His career continued at ABZ Manufacturing in Madison, Kansas, where he continued to work until his retirement.
An active member of the community, Bobby was a member of the Madison Lodge #196, Madison Lions' Club, and the Shrine Temple.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Tampa Randolph of Madison, KS; daughter, Serena Jeffery; sons, Tim Randolph and Aaron Randolph; two bonus daughters, Shawntell Osten and Shara Miller; grandchildren, Kellie Bostic, Brittany Bostic, Sydney Bostic, Wesley Randolph, Seth Randolph, Ally Randolph, Luke Randolph, Jadyn Miller, Jasmyn Miller, Dawsyn Miller, Kaleb Osten, Malaki Osten, Kyra Osten, Arianna Randolph, Alaya Jeffery, Tagen Randolph, Serena Randolph, Abrienne Jeffery; and several great-grandchildren; & a "favorite nephew" Lake Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilkie & Ada Randolph; his daughter, Angela Bostic; his grandson, Landon Ray; one sister; and two brothers.
A memorial service honoring Bobby's life will take place on April 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at the First Christian Church located at 316 W Main Avenue, Madison, KS 66860. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Main Street Momma's for the park revitalization in Madison, c/o VanArsdale Funeral Home, PO Box 488, Madison, KS 66860.
