Bobby Reece, age 81, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025 at his home. He was born April 5, 1943 to the late Oscar and Maude Reece. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Pauline Johnson, Emogene Miller, and Louise May, and brother, Freddie Reece.
Bobby liked to watch NASCAR racing and baseball, particularly his favorite team, the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed listening to music and mowing and working outside. Bobby loved his family and his dog, Chester.
Those left to cherish his memories include his sisters, Faye Warren, Virginia Oliver, and Becky Wilson; brother, Lynn Reece and wife Pat; brother-in-law, John Johnson; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Eddie Porter to officiate. The graveside service and burial will follow at Trade Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Miller, David May, Chris Oliver, Melvin Humphrey, Butler Reece, Jim Reece, and Grant Alexander. Honorary pallbearers are John Johnson and Richard Reece.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 12:00 and 6:00 p.m. at the home, 396 Reece Road, Trade, TN 37691.
