Greenville, Texas - Bobby Allen Seale, a retired post office worker with 33 years of dedicated service, passed away on June 14, 2024 in his hometown of Greenville. He was born on February 28,1932, in Amarillo, Texas.
Bobby had a remarkable career journey, from overcoming polio to working in construction and ranching to driving cattle. His tenacity and hard work were evident as he tackled various challenges throughout his professional life.
Outside of work, Bobby found immense joy in supporting his children and grandchildren in their sports endeavors and Future Farmers of America (FFA) activities. He cherished these moments with his loved ones.
A proud Marine who embodied resilience and strength, Bobby continued to carry the values instilled in him during his military service until his last breath.
In his leisure time, Bobby displayed nimble feet on the dance floor and found solace in fishing trips. His love for these hobbies highlighted his adventurous spirit and zest for life.
Bobby graduated from Amarillo High School where he excelled in football and boxing, showcasing both his physical prowess and determination.
Described as "tough as nails" and "stubborn," Bobby's personality left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His unwavering determination served as an inspiration to many.
As the community mourns the loss of this beloved individual, Bobby is survived by a loving family that includes his; son Mark Seale and wife Cindy; grandson Matt Seale and wife Heidi; grandson Allen Seale and wife Kara; granddaughter Bobbie Glover; grandson Ryan Seale; granddaughter Katie Lucas and husband Ian; grandson Connor Seale; great-grandchildren Tyler Seale, Ashton Seale, J'den Wilson, River Seale, Levi Seale, Sawyer Lucas, Cohen Lucas; sister Tommie Brown; among several other relatives and friends.
Bobby is preceded in death by his wife; Joyce Seale, his parents; Allen and velma Seale, and his daughter; Debbie Glover.
His legacy of strength, resilience, and love will continue to live on through the memories shared by those who were fortunate enough to know him
Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Wednesday June 19, 2024 from 5:00 -7:00 PM. A Graveside service will be held Thursday June 20, 2024 at Memoryland Memorial Park at 11:00 AM.
Rest in peace, Bobby Allen Seale - a devoted family man, a resilient Marine until the end.
