Bobby J. Shuler, age 84-times around the sun, of Arkadelphia passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was born February 12, 1941 in Pike City, Arkansas to the late Orville and Minnie (Trout) Shuler. Bobby is a graduate of Delight High School. Upon graduation, he attended vocational school in Little Rock. Later, he moved to Fordyce to work at Phelps Dodge where he met the love of his life, Waynette Osborne. They married June 5, 1962. He relocated to Arkadelphia and began working at Reynolds Metal Company in Jones Mill, where he retired. Bobby became a Master Mason in 1968 and was a member of Arkadelphia Lodge #381, as well as a member of The Eastern Star. Bobby was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia since 1968. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son-in-law, Bill Hubbard.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Waynette Shuler of Arkadelphia; children, David Shuler (Tina) of Gurdon, John Shuler (Sherry) of Arkadelphia, and Judith Hubbard of Prescott; grandchildren, Carrie Chambers (Charlie) of Mount Ida, Thomas Hubbard (Gabryel) of Prescott, John Hubbard of Prescott; great-grandchildren, Carter and Colter Chambers.
Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Brother Fred Hunter officiating. The family would like to thank Dr. Martin and nurse, Denise Samuels of Arkadelphia Baptist Medical Hospital for their spectacular care for Bobby.
