Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Bobby Surrency, age 75, who passed away Monday, October 24, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Surrency was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and a retired truck driver.
Mr. Surrency is preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Vertie Bohonan Surrency and two siblings, Shirley Hardwick and Earl Surrency.
Surviving is his wife, Claudine Carter; a son, James Julian Surrency (Tarrael); four grandchildren, Tyler Surrency (Cassy), Kagen Julian Surrency, Gabriel Alan Surrency, and Nova-Rayne Surrency; two sisters, Ann Varnadore and Elwanda Plair; and a brother-in-law Eston Thornton (Susan) and nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rick Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Nobles Funeral Home.
Active Pallbearers are Tyler Surrency, Kagen Surrency, Shane Thornton, Spanky Thornton, Bryon Carter, Gabriel Surrency, and Jake Martinez.
The family will assemble at the home of Eston and Susan Thornton at 1644 Thornton Rd.
