Lytle, TX - Bobby H. Teddlie, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on September 19, 2023 in San Antonio. Born on November 8, 1952 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Billy Teddlie and Betty Reay, Bobby touched the lives of many with his warm heart and adventurous spirit.
Bobby lived a life full of strength and dedication. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served with honor for 24 years. His commitment to his country was unwavering and he carried the values instilled in him through his military service throughout his entire life.
Following his retirement from the Air Force ,Mr. Teddlie took the job at Clark High School to instruct ROTC. Bobby found solace working on a ranch where his love for animals and nature flourished. With true Texan grit running through his veins, he also took part in rodeo events during this time. His days were filled with hard work and adrenaline-pumping experiences that brought him immense joy and connection with the land he cherished.
Beyond his professional achievements, Bobby will be remembered for the impact he made on those around him. His infectious laughter could brighten even the darkest days, spreading happiness wherever he went. He possessed a kind spirit that lifted others up and made them feel seen and valued.
In times of celebration or difficulty, Bobby was always there for his loved ones. He was a pillar of strength and support for his devoted wife Emma Teddlie and son Roland.
Bobby Is survived by his Brother, Charles Teddlie, and sister Beth Lord as well as Son Roland Teddlie
We invite all those whose lives were touched by Bobby to join us in celebrating his life. Visitation services will be held at Primrose Funeral Services in Lytle Texas on September 26, 2023. The visitation will take place from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a rosary from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A Mass to honor Bobby's life will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Lytle on September 27, 2023. The service begins at 10:00 AM and concludes at11:00 AM. After Mass we will be heading in procession to pass by the property of Mr. and Mrs. Teddlie
Rest peacefully, Bobby H. Teddlie, your legacy will forever and shine brightly in our souls.
