Bodock Oliver

Bodock Oliver, age 75, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025. He was born on August 26, 1950, in Austell, Georgia, to the late Johnny and Louise Oliver.
Bodock had a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loved Harley motorcycles, had a deep appreciation for blues music, and was a talented bass player. He enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and could often be found snacking on beef jerky. Animals held a special place in his life, he adored his horses, his pig Sweet Pea, and his loyal dog, Boogie.
A stubborn, grumpy old man by reputation, Bodock was truly someone who loved everyone and was loved in return. Throughout his life, he held several different careers, but his greatest joy came from owning and operating Bodock's Bar and Grill in Canton, where he created a place full of good food, good music, and good company.
Bodock will be remembered for his unique spirit, his love of family and friends, and the unmistakable charm that made him unforgettable.
Bodock is survived by his children, Kelli Oliver, Erica Oliver (Josh) and Andrew Boone; grandchildren, Jonathan Oliver, Noah Oliver, Shelby Bruner, Annabella Morgan and Lincoln Morgan; great-grandchild, Oaklynn Oliver; brothers, Phillip Oliver, Tracy Oliver and Matthew Oliver; daughter of the heart, Mary Hogan (Daniel); as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held privately.
