Bohnnee (Rosey) Mattera, age 45, died unexpectedly on September 18, 2025, after bravely fighting illness for the past five years.
Rosey was the heart of her family and a light to everyone who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Mattera; her cherished children, Rani (11) and Jagan (9); her stepsons, Colin (22) and Hayden (21); her devoted mother, Keya Das (Dibi); her brother and sister-in-law, Proloy and Jennifer Das; and her beloved niece and nephew, Indira and Oliver Das. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Pankaj K. Das, whose greatest wish was for Rosey to graduate college—a wish she proudly fulfilled.
Rosey earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island. She went on to have a long and successful career in digital advertising, working with both small firms and Fortune 500 companies. She was admired for her natural charm, determination, and strength, which carried her into leadership and management roles where she inspired others.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Rosey found joy in being with family and friends, traveling, entertaining, and dancing. She had a gift for bringing people together—her warmth, laughter, and energy made everyone feel welcome.
Rosey will be remembered for her generosity, her love of life, and her deep devotion to her family. She will be sorely missed and forever loved.
