Bonnie “Oma” (Rinberger) Congleton, 76, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on August 21, 2025. Born on May 18, 1949, Bonnie’s greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Bonnie had two siblings, Arthur Rinberger, with whom she was especially close, and Joyce Sorber. She had three children, Nicholas (Gina), Jason, and Melinda, and seven grandchildren: Blake (Sarah), Noah, Tori, and Jaiden; Casey, Chelsea, Isaiah, Jordan, and Tansley. Bonnie also had 12 great-grandchildren. She spent her days as a hard-working, do-it-all mother and grandmother, known for her prowess in the kitchen, love of reading, and self-sufficiency. Many family gatherings were centered around the holiday meals that she prepared, where she passed down her recipes, knowledge, and techniques. Bonnie enjoyed traveling and especially loved to reminisce about her time in Germany.
Oma (German for grandma) raised four grandchildren: Blake, Noah, Tori, and Jaiden. Her sacrifices for them embody the type of person she strived to be. She spent her final days with Nicholas and his family, where she was well taken care of and loved. Bonnie will be remembered for her unmatched selflessness, truly putting family above all. She will be dearly missed, but her impact will be felt for generations.
