Bonnie “BK” Lewis of Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the age of 78. She was born on Monday, January 20, 1947, in Denver, Colorado to the late Clifford John and Bonnie June (Lockhart) Vincent. BK worked as a receiving clerk for Wal-Mart for 30+years. She loved going to Cape First General Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed working with ceramics and sewing. BK was a sports enthusiast, she loved tennis, watching sports, and would always cheer for her Denver Broncos. Most of all she loved spending time with her great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her great niece, Kalli.
BK is survived by her adoring children; Michelle (Tim) Lappe and Shannon (Brad) Mueller; grandchildren, Kodi (Lauren) Lappe, Kyle Lappe (Jewelia Leuckel), Kayli Lappe, Phillip Mueller (Lauren Barnes), Emmalee Mueller; four great-grandchildren; brother, Mike (Kim) Vincent, and sister, Cindi Pruitt. Special nieces and nephews; JT Harris, Nathan (Katie) Ammon, Rikki Ammon; 9-great nieces and nephews and one great-great nephew. Many more family members and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son-Wilson Chapel in Fredericktown on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM to time of service at 12:00 AM. Pastor Nathan Ammon will be officiating. Interment will be in the Little Vine Cemetery on E Highway, near Fredericktown.
Arrangements are under the direction of C. Z. Boyer Funeral Home-Wilson Chapel in Fredericktown.
